INVICTUS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP SIGNS EMILY REID FOR EXCLUSIVE AGENCY REPRESENTATION IN CANADA
TORONTO, ON – Invictus Entertainment Group is thrilled to announce the addition of the most anticipated country female debut artist in recent memory, Emily Reid, to its agency roster in Canada. Emily is the newest artist to both Universal Music Canada (label) and Starseed Entertainment (mgmt.) who have architected the metoric rises of James Barker Band, Reklaws, and Jade Eagleson, as well as orchestrating the resurgence of Chad Brownlee in 2018. Emily is the most recent addition to an already dynamic group of artists for the company, once again showcasing the undeniable growth of one of Canada’s top booking and promotion companies.

Now based in the country music capital of Nashville, Tennessee, singer-songwriter Emily Reid was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. Reid originally made her way to Music Row in pursuit of a Music Business Management degree from the prestigious Belmont University. While never intending to pursue her own musical aspirations, once Reid became immersed in the Nashville Music City culture and connected with a network of musicians she began to discover herself as an artist and musician. Shortly after graduating, Reid wrote the series finale duet for Disney’s award-winning comedy television series Austin and Ally. With millions of tweens across the universe rocking out to her song “Two in a Million”, BMG publishing (Rakiyah Marshal) took notice and signed her to a publishing deal in 2015. In 2018, Emily signed her major label deal with Universal Music Canada (Shannon McNevan) and just released her debut single, “Good Time Being a Woman.” In 2019, Emily joined the Starseed Entertainment management team joining James Barker Band, The Reklaws, Jade Eagleson, and Chad Brownlee.
With her alluring voice, girl-next-door charm, superstar stage-presence, and unforgettable melodies, Emily Reid is a force to be reckoned with.
